Elevating movement with Evolve Pilates
A new brand identity and website for Evolve Reformer Pilates studio
The Challenge
Evolve Reformer Pilates, a quickly expanding small pilates business, opened a second studio in Long Compton, Warwickshire in addition to their existing Tysoe studio and were moving into an exciting new phase of growth.
With a bigger vision and a broader audience, the Founder felt her existing branding no longer reflected the ambition of her business. She wanted to unveil a refreshed, more professional identity alongside the launch of the new studio.
In our research, it transpired that Evolve is a popular business name, so adding to our challenge was finding something unique that stood out amongst the crowd.
Our Solution
We worked closely with Evolve to design a bespoke brand identity and website, as well as a professional photography shoot, to truly reflect the next chapter of the business.
Logo & Brand Identity
The client had experimented with some of their own logo concepts, but nothing quite captured the essence of movement and transformation she envisioned. After an initial discovery session, we developed a series of creative concepts, of which three stood out.
We also created an icon version post-selection, a stylised 'E', inspired by the reformer ropes used in Pilates and subtly referencing our own Ergo logo, which she took inspiration from, so we incorporated into the design.
The final logo features a mirrored design, representing both motion and transformation, core themes of Evolve’s mission, and ensures the brand has flexibility across print and digital.
Photography
To capture the calm, strength and flow of the Evolve experience, we sent our photographer, Kristina, to shoot a series of brand images that reflect the studio's ethos and aesthetic. These are now used across the website and marketing materials.
Website Design
Our team designed and built a custom start-up website with strong visuals, intuitive UX, and flexible design templates. This allows the client to easily update content and manage the site independently as the business grows.
The Results
Since the new studio launched, Evolve Reformer Pilates has seen rapid growth with classes at both the Long Compton and Tysoe studios selling out with an increase in local awareness. The new brand has given the business a refined, cohesive identity, better reflecting its vision and attracting a wider audience.
